Pines & Coffee Cabin

I wasn’t that impressed. Positive: The cabin itself was beautiful, and the location among the trees was peaceful and tranquil. (The back deck views look directly at your neighbors - so keep that in mind.) The closet with extra towels and other linens was nice. Having multiple towel hangers was nice. Negative: When we first arrived, the note I had requested at booking, and the note that I was guaranteed would be there a few days beforehand was nowhere to be found. That was a letdown. (this was for our honeymoon and they were supposed to leave a honeymoon message that was requested at booking.) All of the candles in the cabin that are battery operated do not work. All of the candles on the deck do not work. Some of the lights outside work, some of the lights do not - these are mainly the ones that are in the trees wrapped around. One of the robes hanging up for us had a big hole in the armpit. The fitted sheet on the bed would never stay in place. From night one of being on the bed within five minutes, the sheet slid right off. The corner strap to hold it in place was missing on one side. The cornhole bags were molded, rotten, and falling apart with little beads going everywhere. The outdoor chairs on the front porch were moldy and covered in dirt. The sunken bathtub takes extremely way too long to fill up. The handle doesn't directly pour the water into the tub. It hits the side and slowly trickles down. Once you're in that sunken tub - you have to stand back up to turn the water off. The TV being above the fireplace makes it hard to see and hear while laying in the bed. Plus anytime you would use the remote for the TV on one side... It would mess with the TV on the other side. The gate on the level by the hot tub doesn't even reach the other side to shut. I'm sure this is an animal gate, and we did not bring an animal, but we did want to shut it to keep anything from coming up the stairs animal wise at night. That was not an option since it didn't even reach. I reached out to the staff our last morning there with a significant question. I kept being told somebody would be back with me shortly. No one ever got back with me regarding the issue at all. It would've been nice to have at least had an answer.

As close to perfect as you can get! Positive: Almost everything. The property was cozy and clean, the communication with the property manager was amazing, the amenities and ease of operation were fantastic. Just an A+ experience overall. Negative: A couple of the lights and outdoor heaters didn't work due to either no butane or dead batteries. Also, the angle of the driveway is no joke if you have a car! You need to be cautious, but I was informed of this and these are small issues.

Positive: The bed was nice and comfortable. Negative: The cookware was horrible there was no place to store our luggage also one of the TVs didn't work good. When I reached out for help with certain things we had issues with I was told they would get back with me and they never did. The Alexa was creepy it kept telling us someone was at the door at night.
